BLUE INNOVATION CENTER

Mission & Vision

Additional Information

Additional Information

Our mission is to break down silos, educate, collaborate and to facilitate the creation of innovative solutions for clean water, climate resiliency, and healthy & secure oceans.

Our strategic plan is for a water access Blue Innovation Center for the global collaborative ecosystem of the BLUE Institute and the BLUE Institute Labs, PBC (our sister public benefit corporation) to advance Startups, commercialize technology, support research, create Workforce, and expose students - especially females, BIPOC, veterans, and other under-represented groups through experiential learning & internships to the myriad of opportunities in the burgeoning Blue Economy.  We are committed to facilitating an "open innovation" culture of “innovation through collaboration,” currently through a virtual ecosystem, while we develop an ocean access location to support the needs of our partners and members for collaborative & innovative ocean access testing, training, teaching, learning, business and technology commercialization.

Join us as we build out an inclusive, open innovation hub for BlueTech & the wider blue economy that supports local, regional, and international sustainable development.
